Terms of service

Effective September 29, 2026

These terms govern your use of ProjectQ1’s website, application, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use ProjectQ1 for an organization, you confirm that you can accept these terms on its behalf. “You” includes that organization.

1. Your account

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract to use the Service. Provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and ensure that people you invite to your workspace are authorized to access its data. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.

2. Using ProjectQ1

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Service for your own business purposes while you comply with these terms. Do not use it unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, upload malicious code, interfere with its operation, bypass access or usage restrictions, or attempt to access another customer’s data. Do not resell the Service without our written agreement.

3. Connected services and your data

Our Privacy policy explains data processing and your choices. Optional third-party AI processing requires separate workspace approval in Settings.

You retain ownership of the information you provide or authorize us to access. You give ProjectQ1 permission to process that information as needed to provide, maintain, and support the Service, including generating the analyses and responses you request. You must have the rights and permissions needed to share it with us.

Third-party services, including Stripe, have their own terms and availability. You control which accounts you connect and can revoke access through the relevant connection settings. Disconnecting a source does not by itself cancel a paid ProjectQ1 subscription. Contact hello@projectq1.com with questions or requests about your information.

4. Insights and automated responses

ProjectQ1 provides tools for exploring business information. Results depend on the data available and may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Automated responses can make mistakes. Review important findings against the underlying records before acting on them. The Service does not provide accounting, tax, legal, investment, or other professional advice, and does not guarantee business outcomes.

5. Plans, payment, and trials

Free and paid plans have the features and limits shown when you select them. Pro is $99 USD per workspace per month unless you agree to a different offer. Any applicable taxes and the amount due will be shown at checkout. You authorize our payment processor to collect the charges for the subscription you choose.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the billing period shown at checkout until canceled. If you accept a trial that requires a payment method, it converts to a paid subscription at the stated price when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand. You can manage or cancel your subscription in the app’s billing settings.

Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period, or at the end of a trial canceled before its first charge. Except where required by law or expressly offered by us, payments are non-refundable and unused portions of a billing period are not credited. Failed payments may restrict paid features. We will give advance notice of price changes before they apply to a subsequent renewal.

6. Ownership

ProjectQ1 and its licensors retain their rights in the Service, including its software, design, and branding. These terms do not transfer those rights to you. You may use the reports and analyses made available to your workspace for your business purposes. If you send suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve the Service without an obligation to compensate you.

7. Availability and changes

We may update the Service and its features over time. Maintenance, third-party outages, and other interruptions can affect availability. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every feature will remain unchanged. Where practical, we will notify you of material changes that substantially affect your paid use.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. Cancel any paid subscription separately to stop future renewals, and contact us if you want to close your account. We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these terms, nonpayment, unlawful activity, or a security risk. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Ending access does not remove payment obligations already incurred.

9. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You remain responsible for your business decisions and for keeping records you need independently of the Service.

To the extent permitted by law, ProjectQ1 will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost business opportunities arising from the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of $100 USD or the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms and will update the effective date above. We will provide notice of material changes through the Service or your account email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription.

11. General terms and contact

These terms and any separate written agreement we make with you form the agreement for your use of ProjectQ1. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. Mandatory legal protections remain unaffected.
